The Baker Institute congratulates Honorary Fellow Dr Sandeep Prabhu and his mentor Professor Peter Kistler for being announced as one of ten young authors awarded Young Author Achievement Awards by the American College of Cardiology in recognition of outstanding research published in one of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology’s sister journals.
Winners will be recognised at the JACC Editorial Board meeting and reception held during ACC’s Annual Scientific Session in Orlando, March 2018.
The Young Author Achievement Awards are awarded to researchers within the first five years of their training.
The award was in recognition of the January 2018 paper, Biatrial electrical and structural atrial changes in heart failure: electroanatomic mapping in persistent atrial fibrillation in humans.
