Whether travelling by car or public transport, the Baker Specialist Clinics are easy to get to.

Centrally located, the clinics are accessible by major tram and bus routes. The Alfred Centre facility boasts underground visitor parking as well as a convenient drop-off zone for patients, and nearby taxi ranks.

How to get here

Travelling by car

Underground parking is available directly below the clinics with a lift (the B lifts) taking patients directly to the clinics on the fourth floor. Off-street parking (metered and free) can also be found on nearby streets.

From the north, Punt Road will lead you to the clinics, as will Nepean Highway from the south, Dandenong Road from the southeast, Commercial Road from the east, and St Kilda Road from the city.

Travelling by bus

Bus routes 216, 219 and 220 all stop at the corner of Commercial and Punt Roads.

Travelling by tram 

Tram No. 72 stops at the corner of Commercial and Punt Roads. For those wishing to incorporate a little physical activity in their journey, the No. 3, 5, 6, 16, 64 and 67 trams travel along St Kilda Road. Alight at the corner of St Kilda and Commercial Roads and the clinics are approximately 600m away.

Travelling by train 

On the Sandringham line, Prahran Station is a short 10-minute walk to the clinics.

The clinic hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm.
