The Melbourne Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance study is inviting volunteers to join an exciting research project to establish innovative non-invasive heart imaging techniques.
Who can participate?
Adults aged 18 years and over.
This research is being conducted at the Baker Institute in Prahran, Melbourne.
What is involved?
- One or two visits to Baker Institute (approximately 3 hours).
- An advanced heart MRI scan.
- One or more of the following:
- echocardiography
- electrocardiogram
- static bicycle exercise test (VO2 max)
- 6-minute walk test
- blood sample
- health questionnaire
Some participants may be asked if they would be interested in repeat scans at a later date.
