Associate Professor Alex Voskoboinik is a cardiologist, electrophysiologist and clinician scientist with a special interest in rhythm disturbances. He implant pacemakers and defibrillators, and perform minimally-invasive catheter ablation for arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia.

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), Basic Physician Training and Advanced Training in Cardiology (2010–15)
  • MBBS with First Class Honours, Monash University (2003–08)

  • Sophie Davis Memorial Prize — awarded to the dux of the medical course for attaining the highest mark over the five year Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (2008)
  • Alfred Hospital Residents and Graduates Association Prize — awarded to the final year student at Alfred Clinical School with the highest mark in Medicine and Psychiatry (2008)
  • Harry Hindlip Green Prize in Medicine — awarded to the final year student at Alfred Clinical School with the highest mark in the Medicine clinical examinations (2008)
  • Faculty Prize in Clinical Science and Practice (2005)
  • MBBS Year 3 Faculty Prize (2005)
  • Leo Cussen Pathology Prize (2005)
