With a background in cardiac nursing, Lilly has worked extensively as a clinical cardiac nurse in both Melbourne and South Australia. Her breadth of experience covers the acute hospital, community health and rehabilitation, and clinical research.

The basis for recovery following a cardiac event is to empower an individual to understand their cardiac condition and identify their risk factors. To assist with implementation of behaviour change, to establish a regular exercise regime, and offer ongoing psychological support as required through referral and attendance at a cardiac rehabilitation program. This should be accessible to all.

Lilly is the Research Assistant Nurse for A risk-guided disease management and tele-rehabilitation program to reduce re-admissions in coronary artery disease.
