Haematopoiesis and Leukocyte Biology
Dr Sam Lee is a Group Leader in the Haematopoiesis and Leukocyte Biology laboratory and leads the Baker Institute's Flow Core Platform. His research focuses on how haematopoietic stem cells that reside in the bone marrow produce different types of inflammatory immune cells in the setting of heart disease. To achieve this, he uses a variety of cutting-edge technologies including flow cytometry, single-cell RNA sequencing, 3D fluorescence imaging and mouse genetic models. His team also collaborates with labs nationally and internationally.
