I'm a PhD student in Immunology with a background in biotechnology and nutrition. My research explores how diet influences the gut and immune system, and how these interactions contribute to cardiovascular disease.

I completed a Bachelor of Biotechnology at the University of Padova and a Master's degree in Nutrition Biology at the University of Bologna. My current project investigates how a high-salt diet affects the gut barrier and immune function, and how these changes influence cardiovascular health.

My work combines techniques including mouse models, gut histology, immunofluorescence microscopy, spectral flow cytometry, metabolomics, and quantitative image analysis.

Outside the lab, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and cooking — especially making homemade pasta and tiramisu.
