Affiliate: Imaging Research

Dr Shaun Khanna is a consultant cardiologist and clinician-researcher with a focus on cardiovascular imaging, cardiometabolic disease, and preventive cardiology. His research aims to improve the early detection and risk stratification of cardiovascular disease through advanced imaging, artificial intelligence, and precision phenotyping. Dr Khanna is currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Medicine) through the University of New South Wales in collaboration with The George Institute for Global Health and the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute.

He has authored more than 35 peer-reviewed publications and over 90 conference abstracts presented at major international meetings. He also serves as an Editorial Fellow for Heart Lung Circulation and is a member of the Early Career Editorial Board for the Journal of the American Heart Association, alongside peer-review roles for several international cardiovascular journals.
