Telematics: improving access to digital resources for diabetes management and education.
This is an innovative project aiming to develop a video library using an app that can be accessed on a mobile phone or other electronic devices. The library will include videos covering a range of topics such as type 2 diabetes therapy, type 1 diabetes management, and gestational diabetes. This will also include advice regarding dietary management, exercise, new therapies, and technologies — such as insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring systems, new once weekly injectable agents.
