As Manager of Allied Health Services, Marly is committed to improving outcomes for people living with diabetes through integrated, evidence-based, and person-centred models of care. Her approach combines service delivery and academic inquiry, ensuring that clinical practice remains aligned with emerging evidence, innovation, and technological advancements.

A Nurse Practitioner and Credentialled Diabetes Educator, Marly has over 20 years of experience across public hospitals, general practice, community health, and private consulting, with extensive expertise in diabetes education, advanced clinical practice, and operational leadership. Her clinical work is underpinned by a strong interest in integrating diabetes technologies, including insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), to optimise diabetes management and improve clinical outcomes.

In her role as the Manager of the Allied Health Services, Marly provides operational and clinical leadership across allied health services, supporting service integration and the delivery of high-quality, collaborative care. Through her leadership, research engagement, and passion for innovation, she aims to deliver meaningful and sustainable diabetes services that positively impact individuals, families, and the broader community.
