As part of the Alfred Alliance in Diabetes, the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute made a submission to the Federal Government's Parliamentary Inquiry into Diabetes.
The Alfred Alliance in Diabetes comprising several institutions co-located with the Alfred Research Alliance precinct, each of which is engaged with diabetes through research and/or care delivery. This includes The Alfred Hospital, the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, Monash University and Nucleus Network. The Alliance has world-leading authorities and expertise in diabetes research from bench to public health and is engaged in delivering both community-based and highly specialised care.
