Catriona joined the Diabetes Technology Research Group as the National Research Coordinator and Technology Trainer for the Adult Hybrid Closed Loop 3-year Study with the Artificial Pancreas, managing 7 sites across Australia in 2016. Catriona was promoted to the Project Portfolio Manager in 2018 and is currently overseeing the type 1 diabetes technology research projects and managing its growing team members.

She is also responsible for the promotion of the Diabetes Technology Research Group in the diabetes community continuing formed relationships with DV and DA (PWD advocacy groups) and presents regularly at their people with diabetes events.

Catriona discovered her passion to find solutions for people with type 1 diabetes having held sales roles and then regional management and clinical hybrid roles for 16 years working in type 1 diabetes technology with Medtronic Diabetes in Australia and prior to that with Bayer Diagnostics.
