Elly Francis-Pester

BPsych(Hons)

Elly is a member of the e-learning and design team within the Non-Communicable Diseases and Implementation Science laboratory, where she focuses on uplifting the GACD e-Hub, a free online platform designed to develop knowledge and skills in implementation research, particularly in chronic and non-communicable diseases. Elly’s work at the Baker Institute integrates the psychology of learning with digital education and instructional design principles to optimise online learning environments for diverse learners.

With experience delivering tertiary education since 2018, Elly has contributed to a range of teaching and learning activities related to curriculum development, placement support, and student engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Monash University and is currently completing a PhD in Psychology at Monash University. In addition to her work in digital learning, Elly is an Assistant Lecturer in Psychology at Monash University.

Elly is dedicated to fostering autonomous learners by designing learning experiences that encourage students to actively build knowledge through collaboration, reflection, and real-world application. As a strong advocate for safe and accessible learning spaces for all, she strives to create inclusive, evidence-based educational experiences that support diverse learning needs.
