Eloise Thompson

Eloise is a Clinical Research Nurse in the Cardiometabolic Health and Exercise Physiology laboratory and is currently involved in the early-stage development of various upcoming studies including identifying predictive structural changes and the effects of weight loss on the quality of life for heart failure patients. She also oversees the clinical ECG and holter monitor diagnostic service in collaboration with the Baker Institute cardiologists.
Eloise has a background in critical care and cardiology and a keen interest in exercise as intervention for the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease. After completing her Master of Nursing Practice in cardiac care, she has worked in a variety of settings including the cardiac catheterisation laboratory, intensive care unit and emergency department, where she is currently a CNS/ANUM.
