Holly Murdoch

Holly is a Credentialed Diabetes Educator with extensive experience supporting people across the lifespan with all types of diabetes, whether newly diagnosed or well-established in their diabetes journey. This includes type 1 and type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, monogenic diabetes, type 3c diabetes, new-onset diabetes after transplant, steroid-induced diabetes, and checkpoint inhibitor-associated autoimmune diabetes.
With a special clinical interest in type 1 diabetes, diabetes technology (including CGMs and automated insulin delivery systems), and addressing the mental health burden of living with diabetes, Holly is passionate about helping people access the tools and knowledge they need to manage their diabetes confidently and independently. Recognising that there's no "days off" from diabetes, Holly believes in empowering clients with person-centred, evidence-based education and support to help them manage their diabetes with confidence.
Beyond clinical care, Holly continues to advocate for equitable access to diabetes technology, working directly with the Australian government to improve affordability and accessibility for all, regardless of diabetes type, financial circumstances, or age.
