Kate completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Science at La Trobe University in 2023 followed by completing an Honours research year at La Trobe University in collaboration with the Metabolomics laboratory in 2024. Kate’s Honours research involved investigating the effects of dietary intervention on the plasma lipidome and identifying if this had an impact on markers of metabolic health.

Currently, Kate is undertaking her Master’s degree in the Metabolomics laboratory further expanding her previous Honours research and focusing on the potential lipidomic link between dietary intake and inflammation.
