Yasmin Mirzaalikhan is a dedicated PhD student with a passion for understanding the intricacies of biological systems and their wider impact on human health. Committed to advancing knowledge in her field, Yasmin seeks to explore how changes in the cellular environment can influence biological processes.
Yasmin's academic journey commenced with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tehran, followed by a Master of Science degree from the Royan Institute. The focus of her research during this period was the "In Silico and In Vivo Study of Membrane Proteins in the Spinal Cord Injury models”.
Currently, Yasmin is a PhD student at the RMIT University and Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, where her primary research focus is to investigate the effect of Extracellular Matrix (ECM) remodeling and alterations on endothelial cells mechanobiology.
