The Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute is a registered charity and is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) by the Australian Tax Office (ATO).
The Baker Institute is a member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA), meaning we comply with the FIA Code. This code provides guidance regarding ethical conduct toward donors, beneficiaries and suppliers.
The Institute is also a member of the Public Fundraising Regulatory Authority (PFRA) and therefore adheres to the PFRA standard and all state and territory legal standards when undertaking face-to-face fundraising activities.
