Emily Goh

BSc, Monash University

Emily is a pharmacology honours student at Monash University, currently conducting her research within the Heart Failure Research and Biomarker Discovery laboratories under the guidance of Associate Professor Bing Wang. Her passion for heart failure developed during her undergraduate degree, where she gained insight into the seriousness of the disease, which unfortunately has limited treatment options.

Currently, her research is focused on advancing the understanding of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) by exploring its underlying pathways, and testing novel therapies in clinically relevant animal disease models. Through her research, she hopes to significantly contribute to the field of heart failure research, with a focus on improving the quality of life for heart failure patients.
